Good ol' Snopes for debunking urban myths.

It's amazing how people, presented with evidence that an urban myth is just that they would rather hang on to the belief that that the myth is fact and the debunking a lie.



As for the 'IQ Test', don't beleive it, was listening to the radio today and it isn't really a proper IQ test, you need to have them professionally done. About all it shows is a comparison between different people, not your actual IQ.

144 for me.

I've done a test before (although not with a professional) and got a similar result.

Even if it is 'accurate' it doesn't mean very much imho.
 
I've got my results back, and apparently I have an IQ of 132. That's what the test says, but that seems way too high to me.
 
I just done one on the net and got 128.
Better than the 95 I got on the TV :rolleyes:

Someone explain that difference.

1. You may have been concentrating more.
2. You knew some of the answers from the TV one. (which is identical to the net one)..

I am studying the dictionary from now on. 10 words a day :p
I will turn to a random page, look at a word I have never seen, write down the meaning and study it. Hey! It could help :p

I must say that I didnt have much of a clue with those word ones, but I still managed to get 141 (must have fluked a couple :D)

Easy, your smarter in the cyber-world than you are in the real world. Like everyone in cyber is better looking, taller, younger (or older depending on circumstance), richer etc etc etc.

Being smarter here (the net) is just another instance of how much better this life is than real life.

It was the same test as the TV, same amount of time etc etc....

So I dont see what difference it makes Stu ...

I just sat 2 more IQ tests and got a 144 and a 117.
In the last week I have done 4 IQ tests andd respectively I have got the following scores:

95, 128, 144, 117

I believe I will take the 'mean' or 'average' which gives me an IQ of 121 :D
 
I got an IQ of 98 (and a grammer score of -1, 'hey hillary, lookee here, I got me a rabbit!')

I knew a lot of the stuff, except for the language (hey purterb means...?????), but was not able to do it quickly.

Eddie could get charged for what he said about the Kiwis (which is actually true under new Aus laws).
