So we have 23 Tassie players and 11 Irish players on 2023 AFL lists.

That's 34 players already.
Not too bad at all.

The other thing to remember is that despite huge investments there are still hardly any NSW or Qld players on AFL lists.

So a Tassie/Irish combo is likely to be quite fruitful in comparison in terms of talent.

I counted 60?

That's still more then I thought so thanks for that.

But with 4/18 (22%) teams and 50% of the population then 8% is still pretty low. AFL would like to see that number double

It's 16 per team so lower than Tassie.

If all the Irish lads get sent to Tassie then surely this should be their song.




Might be a little depressing after a win though.
