Hard to top Mofra.
He left to win a flag after our disastrous 2016 season but if you listen to the rumours of the time, he wasn’t well liked by the younger players as he was seen as aloof towards them. Ignored them for the most part and thought his shit didn’t stink. The club became a lot more inclusive and if he’d still been there, things may not have changed as much as they needed to and we wouldn’t have got on a roll.I know it's the Bay, but that generally is one of footy's really sad stories, I always felt Deledio left Richmond more out of thinking GWS could get his body right (he had a rotten luck of injuries in his tenure at Tigerland)
I don't think he left for money or to try win a flag.
I know most decent Richmond supporters will never regard him as a turncoat and still a bonafide Tiger great.

I don’t blame him leaving after that season because no one saw what was coming, but I was glad to see him go. Things needed to change.
I’m sure he would be welcome. Will take your word for it, given you would have far more knowledge of it at the time
I would like to think that he is still welcome at Punt Rd, he gave your club many years of loyal and great service
