Is Hayden back in good form?
I say yes his batting had got much better over tha last few matches, can't wait to see him in the world cup.

I'm still not sure. His form has picked up (Though he should have been out twice before he made his ton, but a 100 is a 100) but he isn't facing the best ODI teams going around, it'll be interesting in the WC when he comes up against the likes of Ntini and Asif and co., though if he makes runs against Bond on Sunday night I'll give him credit where its due.

Not yet.

He has had some luck in the past couple of innings, and he looks good when playing the big shots, but it seems to be big shot or leave atm. He needs to start nudging it around a bit more. That should come as he gets a bit more time in the middle during the limited overs games.

That said, he is timing the ball so much better at the moment. The last 20 balls of his innings in Perth has given him plenty of confidence.

Just to clear it up, this thread was made before he went out, when he was batting well, and now after that shot i am doubting him.

Look on the bright side, at least he got out by middling one.

He had a few mates tonight though.

A lot better then he was before, a lot better then hodge is doing as well.
Who isn't doing better than Hodge tho. Hodge is usless, the guy would be lucky to get another One Day Internation match ever again. He has had all the chances in the world to prove himself and he has failed everytime. There is no way known he will make the World Cup side and if he does i wont be very happy along with alot of other people.

Shane Watson going to the world cup wont make me happy at all...

He should never have been picked for the one dayers in this series - unfortunately it's hurt his Test chances, where he averages 58 and was unfairly dropped. I can't believe he's thrown away opportunities like this though.
