I just got my computer back from the whole hard drive being replaced. I downloaded itunes again and all my songs apear to still be there. I can play the ones i put on myself but the ones i put on via memory stick dont seem to play. Is there anyway i can get them to play without putting them all on there again?

Did you save the songs from your flash drive onto your computer's HDD? If you didn't to play them you will need it plugged in every time you want to play them via itunes.

no i didnt they where off my mates comp and now i cant get them again?
Is there no other way to get them to work on itunes, i have them on my ipod tho.

The files would have been copied from the memory stick to your iPod while it was still plugged in. I'm afraid unless you get the memory stick back those songs will not play through itunes. The mp3 (?) files which were on the memory stick needed to be copied to your computer. Fair chance that when you plug your iPod back into your computer that they will get wiped off that as well.

If you go to windows explorer and set your folder options to show hidden files you can find the mp3 files on the ipod and copy them to your HDD.

The only issue is the files will have encrypted filenames. So instead of nameofsong.mp3 it may have something like ABX&TX.mp3 however once you play this file you will know what song it is and can rename the file.
