Posted this on the Computers board, but just figured there was more a chance of a quicker reply on here (I hope :o ).

Anyway, for some reason, last week when I opened Itunes, half of my library disappeared, including all my playlists.

All my music is still on my hard drive (but not all in the one folder), so rather than having to go through it all again and importing it, is there an easy way to get it all back to my library instead of doing it manually? It will be time consuming to go through it all manually, so it would be great if Itunes has a function like on Media Player where you can scan all the media on your hard drive and automatically import it that way.

And if the answer is really obvious, please don't point out my stupidity.

Thanks in advance.

I think there is an option in File or something to 'Consolidate' all of the music in your computer into your Itunes library.

That may work.

Cheers. :thumbsu:

Doing that now, looks like it will take a while, but as long as it works, I won't be complaining.

Damn, wasn't what I was looking for.

Oh well, guess I'll just do it manually. :thumbsd:
