I've finally driven all my Richmond hating mates insane... so much so that my "Happy 50 Day Anniversary" Facebook post of my sinking a tin or Richmond Premiership Draught has had my Facebook friendship removed from several mates.

For years I've endured their success (Hawks, Dons and Cats fans) and their constant jibes at our expense and now they're not coping with our joy.

Couldn't be happier... long may this feeling of joy and superiority remain!

Who else has been driving their mates crazy with flag gloating?

Driving wife mad simply by proximity. My mates are trying to placate me with "how happy they are for me" Which I know is BS, so they have not made it as fun as I hoped (self preservation mechanism methinks, my obnoxiousness is usually given as the reason why "they" hate RFC). But am having a "RFC xmas finals frenzy" with the boys in 2 weeks QF/PF/GF barbie and beers, will most likely engage in more beer at that, than those at the finals. But I have committed to driving them all damn insane for 2018. Even as a tight arse I have budgeted coin to update my regalia to have nothing but "Premiers" written across it.

I have also been copping it from Bombers fans over the yrs but i am rather puzzled as to what they have to brag about recently. They seem to have been silenced when i mention they are now the last of the established Clubs to win a final & there recent finals record in recent yrs is worse than even ours was pre this yr (they have been on the receiving end of some finals beltings in recent times).
Many fans seem pissed off at not being able to knock us any longer & need to find a new target, there are plenty of options around.
It's brilliant, pure bloody bliss!!!!

IMO you have done a pretty poor job, if its taken you this long to do it.

I hosted a comedy gala last weekend and my co-host and I did a magic number trick where the end result was the number 1612108. When asked why we chose that number we started the RFC theme song and explained that was the Richmond GF score 16-12-108. Much groaning in the crowd of 300 haha

I do agree but given all we have copped over the yrs (especially from Clubs supporters that have achieved nothing in recent yrs) reckon we are able to throw some mud back at them.

Yeah know what your saying. My friend's asked me why I ain't gloating and I smile and say because I know that you know how bloody good we are and that makes my day.

My friends know that I expect the same in return. Just about all of them are respectful, as am I. The small minority, however, who have taken great delight over the years in telling me just how rubbish we have been...well for them, I'm afraid there is no respite for how many times I remind them exactly who won the premiership, and just how magnificent we were in doing it.

On a serious note, I have never been the type to either gloat, or rub a friends nose in it, when their team is either crap or loses an important game. My friends know that I expect the same in return. Just about all of them are respectful, as am I. Nope... have plenty of anniversaries to come yet. The only ones enjoying this are my Bulldogs mates who tell me "it's perfectly fine to celebrate until someone else lifts that cup and you can no longer call yourselves the reigning premiers." I intend to follow this right the way through.
