Fanta Pants made an interesting suggestion on Sports Central last night, pointing out that promising young KPF Jack Gunston isn't getting a game at Hawks, having been traded from Crows where he spat the dummy after being behind Walker/Tippet in pecking order. As the Hawks need a ruckman, maybe there is a possibility to trade rights to Griff for Gunston? Could be a win-win. Notwithstanding Gunston wanted to be traded home due to 'homesickness', the prospect of a regular berth in the starting team might influence? Apparently Crows & Hawks both rate him very highly. Thoughts?

Reckon he would definitely want to stick around for at least another year at the Hawks, if not hard to see him leaving Victoria. Worth an enquiry though, pretty handy lead up forward.

It'd be nice and he'd certainly get a game but he won't come over, maybe he's one that we should be thrwing more money at, offer him up to 500K, still half the price of Cloke and he is a very good player.

Fairly sure money won't lure him. There were rumours that he comes from an extremely wealthy family. He just wanted to be home with mummy and daddy.
Also, check the way he slunk off on a plane (never to return) a couple of hours before he was due to announce a contract extension.
You sure you want someone like that in your club?

Nah, we certainly don't want someone like that. Besides, there's plenty of clubs in Melbourne so he has lot of options.
