Jackass

At work today I stumbled across 3 episodes of a t.v show called "Jackass". Talk about laugh, I almost shat!!!

Can anyone give me some background on this show ie. I think MTV is involved? What your opinion is of this show (funny or otherwise), who is in it (I noticed Gene Simmons into'd one of the shows saying his name was Johnny Knoxville and Brad Pitt was in another scene where a bunch of guys were dressed up in monkey suits and were riding on skateboards at night somewhere), how many seasons etc. Is this show available on tape anywhere.

I think Santo showed a few scenes on The Panel last year. Very funny.

Yeh mate Jackass is classic.
A mate who went to the US brought back some tapes of it with him. I think there are three series with Johnny Knoxville, stevo and the rest of them just doing crazy stuff.

I reckon the only thing I've seen on it that was pretty hard to watch was the sketch with the inside out omlet, where they eat the raw ingredients before yacking it up and cooking the omlet. Not to be outdone by actually eating it once it's cooked.

luckily ive got optus vision.. so every tues night 9:30 jackass is on. its hilarious. i have every episode of every season so far on tape, because i work then, the tape recorder is always set to go . id rate it the funniest show on tv

When i lived in Europe i used to watch this show all the time on MTV..

Absolute brilliance, and great for a laugh, even when your down...

Mind you i didn't think so at the time..

Very outrageous stuff sometimes, that is hard on the stomach...

Some very funny/gross things on that show. How about the one where he's in the portable toilet full of sh|t, and he gets turned upside down and coated in the crap. Classy.

yeah it was on MTV.
the series was fantastic. i loved it.
a few celebs, such as Brad Pitt, who was also in a kidnap scene, Shaq was in one, as was the tongue, as u said. my faves were the regulars such as Steve-O and Party Boy.

3 series seem about right, about 8 in each. also some specials with bam, such as cky, landspeed, etc.

to summarise, upon first viewing, i have been in pain from laughing so hard, i just couldn't stop crying.

then again, i'm sure its not everyone's cup of tea.

Mates of mine had a whole tape of it on in the background at a party and most folk were just standing around in shock.

The milk skulling and the omlette made me feel quite ill.
