Jackson v Schulz

Who do you think is the best player out of these two, and which one has the brightest future at the RFC? I would have thought Jackson, but after Tony's thread about Schulz, now I'm not so sure.

Enlighten me, O wise ones.....

I think both will be around next year and we won't really know their future prospects for another 10 months.

I'm still spewing Miller turned down pick 28 in the draft for Schulz.

Having said that though Schulzy really has made significant strides this season, he really has "stuck it right up me!" I just wish he had more of Jake King's aggro in him.

Could you imagine that?

Love watching Jackson and really believe he can improve yet again with another pre-season and more AFL games under his belt. I reckon he has a bright future with the club and his tenacity will go along way to ensure it.

I love the way Schulzy put his body on the line this season, but I wish he was more accurate in front of goal. Still he has been a good utility this season and has helped a lot in defence. If Jay's pre-season included some sprint work to improve his speed around the ground and some goal-kicking practice he would become a very versatile player for us in '09.

Both players really need to step up to the next level in '09, and I see Daniel having a greater chance of success at this than Schulzy.

I just wrote this in another thread but might as well put it here too: if we had taken pick 28 for Schulz we would have picked PUTT with it, meaning we gave Schulz away for NOTHING. I'm kinda glad we didn't do that.
