with a bit more experience will coome more confidence and belief and when he gets it, he will tear the game apart. next year will be his break out year and coming of age, just like this year was moores year

I rate the kid

People forget that he was playing really good football at the start of the year
He went in hard for a ball against Collingwood and almost had his ear ripped off his head in a head clash.
Has been taking a while to get back his form since then and now he's been given some proper game time he's showing the same sort of work he was earlier in the year.

Late starter to the game, bottom aged when drafted, big bodied, actually is quite fast and solid skills. He's still only a year older than Lids.

Well I haven't been able to see too many games lately so can't comment on how he's going.
But if he's in good form, then he is just the kind of player i'd throw up for trade - if we have to bundle together a trade this year.

I doubt we'd trade away any of our few legitimately good players.

And trading Hyde and Tivendale for a 1st rounder isn't going to work!

I just think that players like Jackson who apparently are 'showing a bit' are just the kind that opposition clubs might want to take a chance on. How much better is Jackson going to have to get before he becomes 'untouchable'? I doubt he's already on that list, and I think it unlikely that he ever will be.

Don't openly mention his name in the media, but shop him round in trade week for sure. I don't necessarily want him gone, but you have to trade someone with value to get a nibble. Heck, Freo might be keen.

We drafted Wayne Thornborrow from the Saints after he played his one good game against us that time. Freo might fall for the same trick.

At the start of the game i was annoyed that he had been selected ahead of Polo but he was very good today. Was finally showing the spirit and courage he showed in his first season, when he looked very promising.

I would say he has had a good enough year to stay on next year. I agree with some posters and say he isn't good enough.... yet. It has taken him a while to develop, but it looks to be his time now. We could have a very good player.

Tuck was very late to develop and was the last player kept on our list when Terry first made his cuts. Now he is a regular, consistent senior player. There will be no maybes next year though it's either cement your place or get the cut. He would know that. Lets hope he comes on.

He was great today at bursting out of packs and getting it off but he still continues to kill our forward momentum whenever he takes a mark, ambles back, turns around, does his hunchback of notre dame impression and allows every opposition player ample time to trot back into position. Not writing him off but it's something that he needs to shake from his game as it cramps our style of play.
