No man's land at the moment. I think most here agree that he is in serious danger of being delisted. He was nearly delisted last year and was given extra time to prove his fitness before the preseason draft. He survived but didn't do a lot this year. His form was poor and he suffered injuries, again.

He was runner up in Cleo Bachelor of the Year.

but a run of injuries and poor form have left him in the delist zone

should be easily in our best 22 but can't string game together on a consistent level

Keeping him on is one of the very few calls Neil Craig got wrong for the year. Even saying that you have to admire for Craig showing faith in Stevens & Begley & giving them another chance.

the afl states that you must delist 3 (i think).. someone correct me fi im wrong.

a mastermove to keep players like stevens and begley - then we dont have to delist and redraft players that we actually want to keep.

Didn't everyone make the same predictions on Goody after 2 interupted years - wouldn't be too hasty in giving good players away.

I disagree, in that IMO it was worth taking a punt keeping Begley on for 2005, considering he has more talent than some players in our starting-22. No biggie, but he should now be delisted.
