I came on this board just to find a thread about this song, it is one of those feel good songs and one of those moment songs for sure (weddings, funerals). My mum told me about it, so i came looking...i have heard about 10 secs of it. Sure it will make no.1 from what I have heard

Yep, "Goodbye My Lover" is the standout song for me. When this is picked up by mainstream radio it will be a MONSTER hit.

I'm in my mid 40s, and had a bit of 'life experience', lol. Yeah, this song just about says it all for we jilted lovers, lol.

Like to know what you'd think of his song about his experiences in Kosovo. Apparently, veterans from that conflict are praising it. I would NEVER have described it as schmaltzy
