just wanted to say a massive thankyou to James Byrne for 94 fantastic games as the Geelong VFL Captain over 5 seasons...

on top of that he is also a best & fairest winner with Glenelg in 2002 and South Freo in 2003 in the SANFL and WAFL respectively...

amazing achievement to win B&Fs at 3 different clubs in 3 different leagues in 3 consecutive years...

Just wanted to add that James Byrne has added to his 4 VFL Team of the Year selections by being named as an interchange in the 2008 team.

That makes it 5 in a row, being selected in every year that he played in the VFL.
