12. James Sellar (Melbourne). Will be excused his poor championship and remain regarded as one of the better key forward options. Might be one that could struggle to adapt to the AFL. At 195cm he probably can’t ruck and he lacks the pace for the backline. Up forward he shapes as an old-fashioned lead-up, pack-marking CHF. Superb leadership, good skills. Probably in the Nick Holland, David Schwarz style. A strong young midfield group should see the Dees draft tall.

this was written in a bigfooty phantom draft, if he believes Sellar could drop to 12 because of his mxied abilities, is there a chance he might slip even further, perhaps to 17? Persoanlly i would snap him up in a blink of an eye.

any thoughts?

I am praying and hoping that Sellar drops to 17 but I don't believe that will happen at all. I think I will go top 10. This really depends on where Leuenberger gets picked at. If Port pick the Berger, then the Hawks will go with Sellar or vice versa. Just imagine if he dropped to 17, both Gibbs and Sellar, too SAs and best teammates, that would be excellent!!! :D

He could slide out of the top 10 maybe, but not all the way to 17.

I'd be surprised if he went before the 10th pick. Terrible year and hasn't grown enough to play the rucking position he's best suited to.

And he's slow, i don't rate him as high as others. Not a real athlete and hasn't grwon like OZ said. Hmm, doubt i'd want him, but at pick 17 bargain.

If he slips he won't go past pick 10.The only way he might is if teams like essendon, port, hawthorn pics are virtual\surprise packets and left of centre.Like if port picks jetta, essendon picks selwood, hawks pick houli, then the talls will slip to later picks.Players like hanson, sellar ,leuemberger.Doubt that this will happen thougfh .too many middies to pick in this draft.not that many kpp prospects. You'll find top 7 will go as many have predicted.
