Surprised to see no love for Elliott on here. Was a standout with an equal career high 5 goals (and NO BEHINDS!) and nearly won the match for us. He also took what could be Mark of the Year for two years running. Absolutely stood on Bartel's head - and whilst running backwards too!

That mark was our first goal for the match and was the spark that lifted us after a poor first quarter.

This kid is an absolute freak! Fast becoming my replacement favourite player after Daisy's defection, and I can see some similarities between the two. It's a contest between him, Grundy and Fasolo for me I reckon.

What's not to like, contested marks, hits the front of the pack to crumb, hardly misses a shot on goal.

Elliot was brilliant. He seems to be a smart footballer (something we seem to lack). He leads into space and his crumbing goal was perfect. If I had one criticism, I would love to see him stay down and crumb more as we are missing good crumbers.

Almost won us the game single handedly, kicking those goals under absolute extreme pressure, I'd say it's the first time in his short career that he's backed up two weeks in a row with great performances.

With a footballer like Elliott, when people say he needs to improve this part of his game, or develop that part of his game, cant we just leave him to do what he does best? I hate to see footballers pushed in a direction that goes against their natural flare. If he is not a natural crumber, and we have this hole in our forward line structure, I'm not sure why Jamie has to fill it. Is Kennedy a viable option?

Just thought it was appropriate to start a thread about this kid.

In a losing side with not too many positives, Billy almost won us the game off his own boot.
Seems to be learning when to go up and when to stay down.
He's obviously a good player but I can see him being a gun in the next 2-3 years.
And also sat on Bartels head for a screamer!

Ive been saying for ages he's the next small forward sensation, he will be the equivalent of a Stevie J, LeCras, Leon Davis etc.
I've got him down for a 50 goal season.
