Wet weather caused trouble for Raikkonen,Michael & Ralf.

Sato is driving in place of Jacque Villenueve

Bet you any money that Barra will do all he can to hold front spot then try his best to keep it reasonably slow so that MS can get up the field real quick!

So Webber handled the wet quite well then. Go for podium Mark!!

Do you think Barra could take out JPM then MS can do one of those turn crashes (the ones he was so good at when he first started) on Kimi to claim the WC?! Now THAT would be interesting otherwise this should be his in the bag if he just finishes 8th.

The Toyota team must be pleased with both cars on the second row in their home GP.

It will be interesting watching the likes of Ralf and Trulli cutting through the field from the back of the grid - if the Japanese tv director doesn't just show us Sato cruising around all day.

Rubeno Wins !!!!!!!!!

Great win by Barrichello, which allowed Michael to win the chamionship.

Kimi needed to win and hoped Michael didn't get 8th or better, but he got the 8th spot and Kimi came 2nd,so Michael Schumacher created history by winning his 6th championship.

Webber finished about 12th.

Well done MS (even if I don't really follow you:p )! As for Webber I gathered he had trouble with the cars setup during the race from things that were said by 10. Where will he be next yr? Most likely Jag but hopefully Williams.

Coulthard's got to go & be replaced by JPM!

RS should have taken out his brother. Now that would have been fun!!

Who was that complete tool Byron Young who wrote in the Herald Sun the following morning?

Never read a bigger load of trollop in my life, claiming he was "angry" that Schumacher had won because he is only focused on winning at all costs.

Oh dear, have you ever thought Byron that's why he is so good in the first place.

He then went on to claim he had never had a competative teammate. Again, I disagree. Rubens has now won 10 races, and Eddie Irvine almost won the title in 1999.

Claims he is no where near Fangio ra ra ra. Of course no mention of how Fangio had less competition and was allowed to switch cars mid-race.

That was the biggest load of crap I've ever read .Noddy Sheahan got's some competition for worst article ever [I remember Noddy bagging Hawthorn players for throwing things while Dipper was doing an after match interview about 5 years ago].

Yeah that Byron Young! What a clasic!! BUT he then wrote the actual "story" on the opposite side which praised MS as the best driver ever. Amazing.

I still reckon Senna would have given MS a true test of his ability. When he passed away it left MS with only a couple of true contenders who are now gone (Hill & Mika IMO). Now there is a new crop coming through but MS is almost finished so hasn't really had decent opposition.

I still say put Webber in a Ferrari and up against MS in the same and it would be pretty close.
