I always wondered if the club employing Jordy in the first place was income splitting. But then again finding someone as qualified and experienced as Jordy would have been near on impossible so likely a legitimate hire.

I always thought he took a lower wage and our agreement was if he did that we would not be able to sack or replace him. Which sounded like a money for tenure play. But we end up giving him the money later anyway. So we just guaranteed him tenure for no monetary gain in the long run.

Yes, I’m not aware of any organisation of consequence with a similar arrangement for senior executives. Particularly still in effect 5 years on.

It wouldn’t pass a remuneration report vote at an AGM for a listed entity.
