Oh i've always said he would become a star, and he surely will, he has alot of athletism and in time will become extremely hard to match up on, a future leader.

He still has a lot to learn. He will be a very good player but to say he wil be our next star is a bit premature.Needs to improve his decision making. Is inclined to be a bit hit and miss. A bit scatty too.

has the physical attributes, no doubt about it. But can be undisciplined at times and inconsistent. Needs to learn to give 100% for an entire game.
I think that playing him forward is selling him short. At best rotate him through half forward, but he should be playing the majority of his footy on a wing.

waite does have alot to learn, i agree, but his physique... seems to have it all, i seriously see someone who will stick around Carlton for a long time and make a superstar, if his mind is on it, he will become a very important player for us next season and behond, so exciting knowing the up and coming champions we have, we would have to best young list in the league now, thank you Pagan.

I can't wait in three to four years time to have a beefed up Fisher, Whitnall, Waite and Crazy Joe in our forward line! Bring it on.
Our list is on the improve but by no means close to the best in the league, I think we've got a way to go before we can boast that.

I have been heard to utter the words "the next Kouta". Waitey has excited me on numerous occasions and while I concede that he as made some errors and shown some inconsitency at times, we have to remember that he's only 20 odd and he's only been playing senior footy for a couple of years. And anyone who shows what he has in his first two years of footy tells me that he DOES have the goods to be a superstar.
I have no doubt that Waite will become one of the elite players of the competition in the next 2 years. This year will be a telling one for Waite. I just hope he stays injury free so that we can see his full potential realised.
