Jay Neagle

Jay Neagle plays for the Gippsland Power in the TAC cup. He is a full forward and kicking lots of goals at the moment. I've read somewhere that he is the son of Merv Neagle. Is that true?

Can he actually play? Is it worth a father/son pick?

Maybe. There's some discussion over at BB whether he's a real champion in the making or just an early maturer - he's a very big boy, and playing against much smaller blokes, you'd expect him to take a lot of marks and kick goals.

Up against the likes of Mal Michael, different story.

Previously my Old Man would pick what numbers I`d wear on my jumper, but when i became old enough to realise, along came Merv, he was a sweet moving, hard at it star, a sort of faster moving Dean Solomon, how i cried when The Great Man ****************d us for Sydney. Close to my favourite Don of all time, he was mad.
