if he is infact sacked of put up for trade - and the going rate is below his value due to his age and past - i think we should have a crack - end of the day he is one of the best pressure forwards going round and we need a bloke to do that - and show players like petts and co how it is done..

its hard to gauge his worth at the trade table though - wouldn't want to give anything of great worth for him as his past is terrible, and he comes across as a moron.

krak and our 4th rounder? and perhaps we cover some $$$ on kraks contract to sweeten it?

thoughts?

:mad:NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO and NO!!!!

I dunno, I think i'd prefer Stephen Milne, and that is saying something.

At the very most I would see if he gets delisted and if so invite him over to train. Doubt that would happen.

I think his best bet is to get picked up by the Weagles. Moving interstate would probably just add to his instability.

Are you having trouble with your girlfriend and want someone to fix it?

No thanks, we wouldnt want him taking edwards, lids, foley, connors out for a night on the town...At 30 years old, probably passed it now. At best, he might have 1 good year left in him.

LOL - it makes me crack up when people act as if perfctly good kids will turn into bad kids when a bad ass player comes in - i can imagine farmer walkig in the doors of punt road - with his cane, big hat, jewels and fur lined coat, acting like the mother ****ing Mack. walking up to our good kids, edwards, foley and lids - studying on a table together in the corner - reading James Hirds autobiography - taking notes like "courage" and "leadership" & "helping others".

up walks the Jeff "The Mack" Farmer, hissing as he talks

"Hey daddy-O'ssss, how bout me and you little jizz'ssssss go and slap up some ssssssskeet catching ho'ssssssss"

th next day, lids edwards and foley walk in as the Macks Diamond Dog's!

i would like to see how a good quality pressure forward would work in our forward line - and show how it showed be done on the field - off the field, our other players will look after them.- if we trade him for krak - then whats it matter? everyone want's krak gone anyway.

we are the worst pressure forward line in the league - and he is probably in the best 10 pressure forwards of the past 10 years - unless we are planning another giant tank off next season - surely he is worth a player who we want to delist anyway? even in his one game this season he was great

please.......

the guy is dimented

He's a ripper player, despite all his problems.

But, how is another medium sized forward going to fit in? Browny and Petts seem to fill that role. I don't think there's room for another of that type, unless of course we did a swap for Petts. That would be a bonus!

Unfortunately as we have absolutely no leadership at the club Farmer wouldn't be a good fit he would just continue playing up, I could see if slotting in well into proper club like Adelaide or Geelong.

Richmond need players with good character who are young. Get enough of these types in and we'll end up with the talent to win a flag.

Farmer does not help us win a flag anymore than Kent Kingsley or Mark Graham.

My least favourite part about BigFooty ... EVERY coach, player, spectator, or boot studder who gets sacked ends up with a thread asking should we pick them up.

lol, there's gotta be some disgruntled bootstudders out there who could lift our stocks!

Maybe we should get GUUS HIDDINK when he's done with Russia? Wallace's contract should be finished at the same time Guus's is..:thumbsu:

you gotta be kidding astro:thumbsd:

when will people learn?:o

you know what i find amusing? that we are talking about having Krak stay on next season based purely on the fact we have no one replace his position in the side - as a pressure forward.

If we sack krak (which we should, as he is not up to it) we basically go into next season without a genuine pressure, crumber forward - which is pretty much our biggest flaw this season.

We need to recruit one - as we really have none in the pipelines, except meyer - who again, is being asked the masses to be sacked or traded.

So we go into a season without one decent option in a important position - a position which has been our biggest flaw and downfall for the better part of the 20years since KB retired?

or we recruit a young player who we have some genuine belief can fill the role within the next 2 seasons - rookie list another, raw excitement machine to back up our original bet - and recruit a mature age player who is without a doubt a genuine star in that position who can fill the role for the next 2-3years and give us a chance of being able to develop a game plan we can win games with and improve on with the years to come

Farmers form is not the question. he is still a brilliant pressure forward - in the same league as a didak, davey & co when he playing games. So what if he has some off field issues? our players are mundane and have & show no personality on the field. they don't appear to get excited, they don't inspire - they don't motivate each other.

if our choices we from the below - which would you choose?

a) keep Krak as we have no replacement for him, despite his obvious inability to perform his job

b) delist krak and go into next season without a pressure forward - and enjoy and whinge about how none of richo, petts, schulz, hughes & a now slower brown - chase their opponents and its ridiculous how easy the ball leaves our forwardline - and how this saps and destroys the mindset and motivation of our midfield and baclkine

c) get rid of krak - get in farmer for a bloody bargain - and have a guy who can do EXACTLY what we needed someone to do, and have a guy show players like meyer and tambling what it means to be a pressure forward and the intensity needed to fill that position. and fill the void for the next two season. and give our midfielders and backline a break.

i would definitely pick c).

but i guess you guys will pick a) enjoy another season of Krak-house!
