you know what i find amusing? that we are talking about having Krak stay on next season based purely on the fact we have no one replace his position in the side - as a pressure forward.
If we sack krak (which we should, as he is not up to it) we basically go into next season without a genuine pressure, crumber forward - which is pretty much our biggest flaw this season.
We need to recruit one - as we really have none in the pipelines, except meyer - who again, is being asked the masses to be sacked or traded.
So we go into a season without one decent option in a important position - a position which has been our biggest flaw and downfall for the better part of the 20years since KB retired?
or we recruit a young player who we have some genuine belief can fill the role within the next 2 seasons - rookie list another, raw excitement machine to back up our original bet - and recruit a mature age player who is without a doubt a genuine star in that position who can fill the role for the next 2-3years and give us a chance of being able to develop a game plan we can win games with and improve on with the years to come
Farmers form is not the question. he is still a brilliant pressure forward - in the same league as a didak, davey & co when he playing games. So what if he has some off field issues? our players are mundane and have & show no personality on the field. they don't appear to get excited, they don't inspire - they don't motivate each other.
if our choices we from the below - which would you choose?
a) keep Krak as we have no replacement for him, despite his obvious inability to perform his job
b) delist krak and go into next season without a pressure forward - and enjoy and whinge about how none of richo, petts, schulz, hughes & a now slower brown - chase their opponents and its ridiculous how easy the ball leaves our forwardline - and how this saps and destroys the mindset and motivation of our midfield and baclkine
c) get rid of krak - get in farmer for a bloody bargain - and have a guy who can do EXACTLY what we needed someone to do, and have a guy show players like meyer and tambling what it means to be a pressure forward and the intensity needed to fill that position. and fill the void for the next two season. and give our midfielders and backline a break.
i would definitely pick c).
but i guess you guys will pick a) enjoy another season of Krak-house!

i would take option d) instruct the players (all 22) that in the forward line its there job to put forward pressure on and not rely on a sole pressure forward
importing #$%#heads into the club is the last thing needed for an emerging side...he's cost Freo this year
