If we are going to pick up a discard from melb i would pick Jeff White over Carroll. My preference would be neither and pick up a good kid instead.

White should be picked up however, he's still got a bit to offer, maybe Richmond or something. Carlton wouldve been prime before Warnock. We definitely don't need anymore discards, especially if we're sacrificing getting kids in

We have King & Gardiner as the experienced ruckmen, with Kosi in support and McEvoy being developed.

We need a defender who is ready to play AFL (hence the sniffing around Caroll - which won't happen imo) and/or pacy & skilled mids (hence the sniffing - no pun intended - around Cousins).
