Jess Sinclair

I don't know about you guys but I reckon Jess Sinclair is a gun. Very classy, silky skills but also good with defensive pressure. He seems to be out of favour with the Roos, getting dropped once again this week after a good performance. He could slot in nicely on the half back flank and rotate through the middle, however I'm not sure what his contract status is like.

What do you guys think of him? Is he worth going after? He would come cheap, probably a late middle draft pick but not sure what kind of salary he would want. He is 30 years old but could help in our premieship push in the next 2-3 years.

When he was at Freo the word was he could not write his own name. Not the smartest bloke but a ladies man all the way. On the field shows good skills sometimes but not frequently enough. Not enough fire in the belly

Man he is not crap, he is skillful and although his appearance gives the impression he is soft he is not. Laid 5 tackles on the weekend i think. And the tan is good, I think you may be a bit jealous. And who cares about the intelligence levels as long as he plays good football (which he does).

Can't even get a regular game for the Roos.

And we are going to go past North in the next couple of seasons so how can he get a game for us

Maybe back in 2003-04 he could've walked into our line-up but not now.

Sinclair would be no more than a stop-gap. He's OK, and may play games, but he's not The Answer, and isn't young enough/won't improve enough to bother with.

We're done with stop-gaps*. You're either a star, or you're going to be a star, that's all we want.
