For all of those that are interested, tomorrow MAX will be having a Jim Morrison day in honour of what would've been his 70th(holy shit!) birthday.
They will be showing as follows:
1.00PM - Lunch with: the Doors - I assume that just their best video clips.
1.50PM - Top 25 70's Pioneers - Chit Chat & James Reyne discuss the iconic artists of the 70s that paved the way for music today. From Pink Floyd to the Doors, this is the countdown for any 70s fans.
3.50PM - The Doors: MR Mojo Risin' - tells the story of The Doors' record, L.A. Woman. A must see for any doors fan.
5.00PM - 27 Club - Your favourite MAX hosts discuss the mystery behind the infamous 27 Club. From Kurt Cobain to Jim Morrision this is a compelling phenomenon
5.35PM - The Doors: When You're Strange - When You're Strange is a 2009 documentary about the Doors. It is written and directed by Tom DiCillo and for the first time makes material from Jim Morrison's 1969 film fragment HWY: An American Pastoral publicly available.
7.15PM - The Essential 20: Gone Too Soon - pays homage to the most beloved musicians to have passed away in their prime. From Kurt Cobain to Michael Jackson, Max counts down the greatest from 20 to 1 with your host Jabba plus special guests.
8.20PM - Live At Hollywood Bowl: In the hot summer of 1968 at Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood, CA, the Doors performed one of their most memorable concerts ever. The Doors Live At Hollywood Bowl captures this once in a lifetime experience.
9.45PM - The Doors: The Movie - Directed by Oliver Stone The Doors tells the story of the famous and influential 1960's rock band with an emphasis on the life of lead singer, Jim Morrison (Val Kilmer).
I will be definitely tuning in as I'm a huge the Doors fan and I think Jim Morrison is a Rock God.
