Frankston full-forward Aaron Edwards became the first player in 129 seasons of the Victorian Football League to win the competition’s goal-kicking and best and fairest awards in the same season.

He's been sensational for the Dolphins all year, looks a certainty to be recruited again into the AFL.

Interesting to see that alot of those featuring high in the Liston Medal are hardened, former AFL players.
