Nothing meat and potato about JLT but we played well and there was some good signs from individual players like Oallen, Petch, Brander ect.

Yeo, Gaff all in low gear for both games and Shuey rested but has good touch.

Sheed has been too sloppy but has done of good work as well.

A lot of fumbles by our boys. They looked fairly knackered - hard training week maybe. The Gov's form is concerning - he doesn't look fit and I think he dropped almost every mark he went for.

Shuey in very good touch, Gaff not so much but didn't seem to really be busting his gut just yet, just getting a run with the delayed start to his season.

Duggan was super impressive for the most part and I think the efforts of Jetta were good too. Duggan had some right foot kicks, some awesome tackles and a good bump or two.

McGovern was not on in his marking at all, neither was Darling really but Darling could be one of the most dangerous forwards right now, very mature, understands his role, will put his body on the line for others and always keep his feet.

Petrucelle showed a bit, my favourite was the burst, but his movement through traffic late also good.

Rioli and Ryan, what a combo, offensively and defensively superb players. Rioli slightly more skilled, Ryan slightly more athletic. Compliment each other.

Redden really got into the game late and fired off some good handballs from ground level, had a slow start but was awesome in the second half, can really turn games with a good half of footy.

Brander didn't do a thing wrong from memory, so clean, mobile and a good user by foot.

Masto wasn't too bad, him and Hutchings have some really nice tap ons off the ground to better positioned players. Masten had 4 tackles
