hey yall just picked up this new ultimate collection by cocker and i think its great, definatley worth picking up if youve got some cash. if you arent familiar with him, he sang the wonder years theme song, anyone seen him live? i hear hes great.

Yeah, I always like pulling out the Joe Cocker cd for a bit of easy listening. I've seen the live dvd and he's very good, still unsure as to how he keeps his voice in tact for that long.

The Letter, A little help from my friend, and Up Where We Belong are my favourite Cocker songs, always good to listen to, whatever mood I'm in.

I saw Cocker at the Melbourne Ent Centre i n 1986. He was terrific and his band was awsome. His voice sounded like smooth Bourban tastes and still does. He would be close to the finest white rythm and blues singer ever.

I saw JOE from Sheffield (Go the Blades !!) back in Sept 1995 at the Palias Theatre StK on his 25th Anniversary Tour.

Agree with Coombsy. Fav track (outside his Big Hits) is 'Shelter Me'
