Joel Bowden V Chad Cornes

There have been some negative comments on some threads lately re Joel Bowden. I can't agree as I reckon he is one of the few really skilled ball deliverers we have. (Though confidence down right now) Holding things together over the past few years boxing above his weight as a key backman. There has been a bit of media talk this year re Chad Cornes as a potential Brownlow winner! I think he is being released further up the ground by Port this year, freeing him up to be more creative.
IMO if Richmond could sure up the backline and release Joel upfield he could beckome even more damaging...
(He should also take over captaincy next year freeing up Johnson... but thats for another thread)

Both champion players. At their primes I think J. Bowden was one of the most damadging backmen going around and so was Cornes. Both have great versitility in being able to play Back, Mid or Forward but I think that Cornes is a better player just becuase of his hight can be alot more damdging. I think that Cornes will have his best year this year as he is showing so far. Both champions but Cornes just.
