He dropped 26K and probably needs around the 110 mark to break even (just a guess)

if i downgrade him, i should be able to free up some cash and add Fev to my forward line

Id hold onto him for now. Pritty sure their playing the bulldogs this week who have no tall key forwards so he should get some space to run and maybe get a few posetions and hopefully score higher

No point in trading him now, waste of a trade. Eventually Terry will get so frustrated about losing, he will go back to the old chip around the half back line game plan and hopefully Bowden will be the general back there! (with any luck!!)

Basically you're using two trades to switch from Bowden to Fevola in your starting 18.

Personally I would want something delivering a clearer dividend than that.

Keep Him (like im doing).

Although its tempting to trade himn right now, theres really just no point to. One your wasting a trade (or two) and your losing money (what hes lost so far). Im pretty confident he'll come back to hes old chip around form which earnt him AA selection.

Being a Richmond supporter I stayed clear of Bowden at his price.

Played all pre-season as our full back and was never going to rack up big numbers playing that role.

With Hall out, Kingsley out, Thursfield out and Simmonds missing early, he has been our main tall down back. Polak has had to cover for Simmonds in the ruck and occasionally play as a tall down forward, which has meant Bowden has had to play a more accountable role in the backline.

When Hall and Thursfield return, expect Bowden to return to his sweeper role and start racking them up again.

But can people be patient enough and expect him to decline in valut a bit more over next few weeks. Will score well in 2nd half of season, providing we have no more injuries.

My worry is he will continue to score averagely for most of the season, but i could upgrade to shaw right now and only use 1 trade in it. My forward line was ok last week, so if i use 1 trade this week (Bowden out) i would have only used 3 trades so far

If he continues to score at the rate he is now for the next few weeks, his price will drop, and i wont get a gun like i could now.

in your opinions, how long before he starts scoring like he did last year?

We'll providing he doesnt play on Johnno, i expect him to rack up a 100 at least this week. The ball will be ping-ponging up and down this week as both teams try and seek form again.

i dont think it really matters who he plays on this week. The running style of the playt should bring him into it alot more therefore allowing him to get more touches.

Goddard may be a player to look at. Proven gun defender, similar in the mold to Bowden. Worst game was when he had 5 possesions in the first 3 quarters and still manage to score 60 odd. Generally scores in excess of 100

It must be noted that - similar to Bowden, Goddards other defenders have been struck down by injury - forcing a more accountable game from him at times.

He will prove his worth, one of the lone super stars here at Tigerland, and hopefully Newman will go on Johnno this week and that will let Bowdo to go CHB where he is a stat whore.
