he's shanked a lot of kicks that I've seen this year, and he's given away 7 frees in 3 games. Early days, but hopefully he can pick it up in the next few weeks.

Doesn't he usually take a few weeks to get going after being out injured ?
I'm sure his game was off for a few weeks after he missed games a couple of years ago with a knee injury.

I think Joel would be 1st to say he hasn't reached the standards that he sets himself, he's not worthy of dropping but simply needs to find some form.
