Added bulk but has had a lot of niggles and spent a lot of time with the injured group. Still has to improve his skills.
With Judd Stevo and Hadlee Cloke Aisake + Kreuz coming into the mix our growing list of talented younger fringe players will be competing for less available spots.
Griig and Armfield have been training with the defenders group and I imagine they will be competing with Joey for a similar role.

He and Armfield will be battling for a BP spot at this stage, with Armfield ahead of him, and by some distance as well. Still, he's not that far away, and should press for a senior berth early in the season.
