I was wondering how the hell his voice is so nice and soothing in Imagine and then it is Demonic and pitchy in Real Love and the start Of Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds. And how does McCartneys voice change so much in Back in The USSR compared to Let It Be. Surely it is all done in the studio, there is no way a singer can change his voice that much.

English singers tend to be able to change their vocal tones better.

Where as Americans tend to well, sound American all the time.

I've got a DVD of Paul live from a couple of years back, and I've got an album of John Live in New York. No studio editing there and they can change their voices that much.
