So you're suggesting that a former head coach would apply for an assistant coaching job?The only way we would get a guy like Laidley is if in the last few years of his tenure Roos "officially"manufactured a coaching co-ordinator position for himself.Not going to happen.

Everyone's an assistant coach at Freo.How he ever got a gig as head coach is beyond me.
Having an anchor as their emblem couldn't be more apppropriate

yeh it doesn't give him coaching ability though.. He could be an amazing coach and I wouldn't be suprised.. Wait yes I would but I don't understand why he would get picked over someone with coaching experience.. It's just cause his Bucks..

Nah, Ken Hinkley has emerged as the second favourite flavour after Buckley.

Seems that Longmire, like Hardwick, Chris Bond and several other contenders from the assistant coaching ranks of 2-3 years back has lost a little ground in the past 12-18 months.
