Over the last couple of weeks I have been betting each day at $1.50 odds on sport and putting my entire win back onto the next days bet.

I started with $20 and got 10 days in before I had to withdraw some money, got pretty stressful breaking $1000. But that was just in 10 days. I am going to do it again starting with $100 and again try to make it 10 days. Each bet varies slightly, sometimes a little under $1.50 and sometimes over, but using $1.50 as my guide, in ten days I will have made $5,766.50. Now I may have been lucky to go my last 10 days without a loss, but I am starting again with only 10% of my winnings.

Now the reason I made this thread is so people can join me. Whether you use your own bets to make up $1.50 or use mine , which I will post up each day. Lets see how far we can get. Now I'm starting with $100 because I already had won some money. Anyone who does want to start with me today, maybe start with $20 or $50 so if we do hit an upset early its not a huge loss. Let me know if your joining, along with your stake and keep me posted on your progress if your using your own tips. Also I am using TAB, so keep in mind odds, matches and start times may vary depending on which bookmaker you are using. I will make it as easy as possible to find each bet.

One last thing. I have been doing well lately but if you do choose to follow my bets, don't get on and blame me if they don't come through, your choice. Start with a bet you can afford to lose. But good luck, here we go.

My first Bet for today to start off is a 2 match multi:

Sport: Tennis
Event: ATP Hamburg
Match: Carlos Berlocq v Matthias Bachinger
When: 21:45 16/7
Pick: Carlos Berlocq
Odds: $1.28

Sport: Tennis
Event: ATP Hamburg
Match: Gael Monfils v Andrey Golubev
When: 22:30 16/7
Pick: Gael Monfils
Odds: $1.18

Bet: $100
Odds: $1.51
Win (If Successful): $151

I normally do something similar with the footy each round.

At the start of the year I started off with $100 and try to double that each week. I got to $1600 at one stage before some team stuffed my multi up in round 6. So I started again and got up to $800 and then I decided to bank it and start again. I have been done this a few times over now.

Anyhow, good luck with it. I think you have had a good run so far. Tennis can be very cruel. Some players just turn up and go through the motions. There is no such thing as a certainty in the tennis and the results at Wimbledon proved this.

Yeah your not wrong, I have seen as low as $1.05 lose in straight sets in tennis. Very risky but I do add the footy and other sports in as well, I just like the tennis because there are always so many matches to choose from, But I never go on odds alone, I always see how they are playing and what surface they are better on ect. The last 10 days I did included the pies on Friday, hawks on Saturday and bombers on Sunday with a tennis match as a multi. But first bet today so fingers crossed I can go 10 straight again.

DAY 2

Well Day 1 in is the books. Carlos Berlocq took a set to get into the match but then finished it off quite easily.

When: 22:45 17/7
Pick: Ernests Gulbis

Sport: Tennis
Event: ATP Hamburg
Match: Blaz Kavcic v Tommy Haas
When: 22:45 17/7
Pick: Tommy Haas
Odds: $1.10

Event: ATP Bogota (or ATP Claro Open)
Match: Santiago Giraldo v Chris Guccione
When: 04:45 18/7
Pick: Santiago Giraldo
Odds: $1.22

Bet: $151
Odds: $1.58
Win (If Successful): $238.58

you will always eventually get a bad beat. You better just hope it's not within the 10days of cashing in

You can find good 1.20 shots in tennis here and there but finding 2 or 3 a day to multi is pretty fraught with danger.

I think the first Monfils one, which you could have got up to 1.30 with other bookies, is the only one of them I would have taken. He skipped Wimbledon, got re-adjusted to clay courts in Stuttgart and would be desperate for points to rebuild his ranking, so against a challenger level guy like Golubev it's not too bad a bet.

Berlocq won his first title in Bastad on Sunday, then played on the Tuesday in Hamburg. Tennis players that make finals (especially ones winning their maiden title!) are notorious for struggling in back to back tournaments.

Haas and Gulbis have been in good touch but these clay tournaments are just fillers and both would be happy to check out at anytime and head to the US to prepare for the swing over there I reckon - Haas is now a US citizen and up until this year Gulbis' best results had been on hard courts in the states.

The tournament in colombia is at altitude and the courts are playing fast, only thing Gooch can do is serve but it goes along way in those conditions so I wouldn't have fancied Giraldo at the short odds either.

I never bet on odds, only the players. I know first hand that odds in tennis mean next to nothing and anything can happen. I look into every match I put in to improve my chances, but I never think any match is a sure thing. That's why you start low, if it pays off its great, if not you don't lose everything, that's gambling.

Well I'm calling it quits. Just as the Pies looked as though they were getting some form back, Gold Coast grabbed the 4 points. Well I'm not done but I'm no longer going to post my bets for this. I'm sure you will hear from me down the track though.
