Hello....Can any Blues fans give me some info on McCormick. I know he played 21 games last season and was very good. How has his pre-season form been? Will he remain a regular? Where is he likely to play? Many thanks

Jon has been on the fringes of the top side so far in the preseason. Missed the Wizard Cup and played for the Bullants and may have played in a practice match or two. From some accounts, he seems to be in reasonable form and it is only team balance and a need to see more of the new guys and gel them together that has cost him a spot. The competition for spots is hotter than ever and while Hopper's disposal isn't as good as most of the others, there is no doubt he is a better ball winner than most. I expect him to play less games this season unless he can jag a round 1 slot and make every post a winner from there.
