Just wanted to say thanks for Jordan. I know he didn't earn his stripes at the Bombers and many doubted he could make it but he has impressed at Carlton to date. No frills type of player but fairly calm under pressure and courageous as it has turned out. The Blues went down as expected but there is a bit of steel there for a change and Bannister is right in the thick of it.

Cheers

Good to hear. I'm dissapointed Essendon gave Jordan up. I really think we should have persisted with him because i believe he would've been a handy player if he was given more opportunities.

Hey, with a late draft pick, we haven't lost much and his work ethic is a good example for the other newcomers.

He had a great day on Saturday and held Pavlich quite well which is no mean feat in a side getting beaten by 8 goals. Credit where credit is due.

mcgrath.. round here many used to worship him as the next jesus... he never quite made it to superstar status (which was all the selectors fault mind you  )..

jordan didn't make the most of his chances, then got injured..

So McGrath never made superstar status (please point out who used that term) What status did Bannister achieve while at Essendon apart from battler ?

Yeah sad to see McGrath go. I think all the McGrath clan have it in them to play AFL level football. Corey has all the tallent so does Ashley, and what little i saw of the one we rookie listed looked good 2. Good Family

Just an update on this Windy.

".......Murphy has had 49 disposals in two games ....... But it appears rival clubs are giving him a wide berth as 42 of his 49 possessions have been uncontested. Perhaps that's because he is the joint leader in the clanger count with eight from two rounds"

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

The more you get it, the more chance you have at ****ing it up.
Quitre simple really, take an ekky and relax Sheik , we`re quite happy to have the boy, he is showing more than 95% of the list. You can throw Matty Allan in there as well.

I'm extremely happy with Murphy so far especially against port. One of the only players who can hold his head high after that game. Matty Allan has also been impressive in the ruck. i'd like too see him do more work around the ground though and improve his disposal.

y do u guys have to be so pesamistic?
murphy is still a pretty handy player to have around and was a good pick up and i think we can get a bit out of him

as for allan he always tries hard and moves around htte groud pretty well but needs to improve on where his punching the ball in the ruck, thats y the other side always gets more centre clearences
