If you can't get a game for Richmond you can't get a game for anyone.
David Rodan says hi.

If McMahon had of stayed with us it's likely he would still be playing AFL and everyone would be bagging him out, because once a player is nominated as a scapegoat by Bulldogs supporters, no amount of on field performance seems to shake it.

P.S. Guy's it is Karmichael not Carmichael, sorry he is a campaigner not a CHunt.

If you re-read my post you will notice that the only way in which I compared him to Farren was by noting it was a shame they both didn't stick around.

Agree. Although we were lucky to get something decent for them.

I wonder if Ray and McMahon would be in our 22 now if they had hung around.

There is some logic to that. But I am still having ten cents(any takers?) that he will bob up at another AFL club next year. Maybe St Kilda or Sydney(clubs with a history of rebuilding players careers) will pick him up. St Kilda could do with a running type, and they do have a history of picking up recycled players and fitting them into their style of play.

Jordy always strikes me as a confidence player. His best is good, his worst is terrible. Without knowing the guy, I always got the impression that he can have self doubts, and drop his bundle when he stuffs up. If someone has self doubts or confidence issues, Richmond is not the place to go to. Their support base is huge and can be pretty unforgiving at times. What Jordy needs is to go to some club where the coach can give him a confidence boost and heaps of TLC.

Agree 100% with how you compared Jordy and Farren. Their fortunes have both gone in polar opposites since they left our great club.

I wouldn't be surprise to see him playing for GC next year.

He may well end up at GC next year however it is an interesting way to go about it. According to the VFL Stats -

He has played 7 senior games for Coburg for the year and has appeared in their best 6 players once (as 6th best player). I would have thought he should treat the rest of the season as a job application and give it all he has in the hope of landing a bigger contract next year.
