Rort the system Carlton style... Although Judd wasn't a #1 pick. I really hope Carlton have bombed out with their #1 picks. The only reason Carlton finished last 3/5 years is because they were punished by the AFL (excluded from the draft) for rorting the system and breaching the salary cap... IMO it would be unfair justice if they were able to score gun players who got them another flag...

And a future captain. We want to keep players like him.

They'd probably want at least two first round picks for him + an established player. So we'd have to do some trades with other clubs to get the picks to make it all happen - would be bloody complicated.

Sarbbo, i'd think Chappy and Bartel would be the next two in line for the captaincy, with Selwood to take the reins after that. I agree though, Corey certainly appears like a person/player a club would want to retain.

I don't think Jimmy will ever get the captaincy. He's too media shy, apart from anything else.

What if Judd is out of contract, doesn't sign up, enters the pre-season draft. Whould we tank so we can get judd or just let him go off to Carlton, Rich, Kangaroos or whoevers on the bottom of the ladder?

He would go to Collingwood because of the amount of money they would offer him. Also think Collingwood will be near the bottom so that makes it easier for them as well. And i highly doubt he will leave West Coast it's just a load of Sh't. Good way to get the drug topic taken off the club.
