was it ever officially announced or are you just going by the photos taken of the boys doing their runs around PP?

They may have increased their deal to include back of jumper sponsor?

I am just plucking at straws...

Additionally just because Judd is there has nothing to do with the Captaincy, he is a marketing goldmine and who ever the new sponsor is they have probably requested Judd to model the jumper.

i very much doubt this announcement happening. Ratts has said that an announcement won't be made until just before the start of the season. my tip would be the announcement of a new sponsor or the announcement of the leadership group.

Won't be announced until the eve of next season, but I have a feeling the decision's already been made.

Probably just because he's our high profile recruit..., but even more interesting is that one of the membership packages ofers a signed birthday card from Chris Judd and Nick Stevens. Our best player and our captain perhaps?

Who knows? I personally think Juddy should get the job ... interesting line up for a media conference if it ain't about the captaincy.

People wonder why there is a lot of negasive comments about posts and new threads made on BF.
This is a perfect example of what gets up people's noses.

You don't know that Judd will be captain, yet that is the title of the thread. Why not call the thread "Press conference" or "Big announcement" and state your opening post again..............

It is the line up that you would expect of any major announcement ATM give we have no captain - take the clubs most marletable player along to EVERYTHING - why is this an "interesting" line up?

I would expect these three to be there, and when the captain is named, Stevo will be there too.......and they would be there for anything Carlton over the Summer - why? Judd is the face of our marketing push for 2008.

With Hyundai coming back on board....and the deal being for 2 years worth $5mil what a perfect way to have Judd there in his new jumper.

It can now have the official sponsors logo on it!!!

Its a perfect setting, deal worth $5mil and Judd wearing number 5!!!

And i can recycle my old jumper with the Hyundai logo on it....the ''Woof" is coming back!!!

Fair enough. Well if it's a major sponsor annoucement and they pick Judd to represent the playing group, I think that says a fair bit about who's going to get the job.
