"It is believed several Melbourne clubs have expressed interest in the 24-year-old who grew up in Victoria. However, the Swans believe he will soon sign a new deal with the club.
Sydney have been in negotiations with Bolton and his manager Ron Joseph for several months, and he's likely to sign a three-year contract early next week for a sum approaching $1 million.
Last season Bolton finished third in the club's best and fairest count, polled 13 Brownlow medal votes and, while his start to this year was patchy, in the past seven weeks he has churned out some of his best work.
The season stats show that he is fifth in the league for contested ball gets and 10th for tackles."
