Not to sure about the "Indigenous centre" (are we a footy club or a school?) but if it means we get funding for other projects then its great news.

This was in the works with the previous government who gave $2m with up to $5m probably on the way. Good to see the current government get on board.

Best news out of all this:

pledged at a private lunch in the Richmond social club yesterday in honour of the Jack Dyer Foundation that the Tigers would remain at Punt Road for the next 100 years.

I still want to know what the announcement that will shock the footy world is.

Further good news for the club came yesterday with the re-signing of injured champion Matthew Richardson, who will miss today's clash with the Bombers, but remain a Tiger until the end of 2009.

That IMO is the best news all year (next to, Richmond draft Trent Cotchin with its first pick!).
