Some or many of you may have seen these before as I just recieved it in an email, but I thought id share with the BF folk as I thought these were some very damn fine chalk drawings.

This guy has taken chalk-on-pavement drawings and combined a two dimension artform with 'anamorphosis' 3-D image when viewed from the correct angle.

Here's a sample of some of his gear.

I love this last one, see how the guy in direct left of the drawing is actually walking around it?

For more pics, goto http://www.rense.com/general67/street.htm or just type his name into Google for a stack of results.

Love his stuff, is there anyone in Melbourne doing this kind of thing these days? I know there were/are some great pavement artists down there....

Seen them, they're fantastic. Love the pool one, had that in an email awhile ago.

Some dudes still do them in Melbourne (not in this rain though), hardly this sort of quality though.

I must say, even if that last guy knew it was actually just a chalk drawing, i do the same - you'd have to be pretty rude just to walk over or through something someone has put so much time and effort into.

Very true, I hadnt considered that.

My fave is the little boat in the puddle, I like the simplicity, or contrast to the city surrounds... or something like that.

hahahahahaha beever.

Yeah they are some mighty fine chalk drawings, pointless, but cool nonetheless.
