Jumper sizes

I want to order a lions jumper for my son, who is nealry 3 1/2 years old and about 110 cm. Is the size 8 (which is the smallest I believe) OK for him? My parents are threatening to send him a Geelong one and I need to get in first!

Also, I have a lions jumper from a few years ago and was wondering if the sizes were similar now. I would like one of the new away jumpers.

Size 8 would be pretty big on him.

My experience with the jumper sizes is the main issue being the arm length. For whatever reason the torso section can just look nicely baggy, not like he is wearing a massively big article, and you can easily take up the hem at the bottom if need be. But the arm length is always massive on long sleeves, and massive holes that you can see through to the kids chest on the short sleeved.

Actually mate I've got a size 8 here I think, and a 3 1/2 year old girl who is a little tall for her age (in size 4 clothes already), I'll pop her into it tonight if you like and see if I can take and email you a pic.

Thanks, I would get sleeveless living Singapore so that problem solved. Being a bit big is fine as it will last longer...

Size 8 is the smallest Kids jumper true, but they have 3 size ranges Adult, Kids & Toddler. You would want a toddler jumper My boy is 4 & he wears a Medium which is size 4 but if you wanted to go bigger you can get Large which is size 6

Have to say after purchasing my husband a new Puma Vodaphone Lions jersey, the XXL is still smaller than the long sleeve AAPT Russell Athletic Lions jersey XL. The Puma jerseys seem to be a tighter fit. Agree about the Toddler jerseys, the arms are very long. Generally with kids' sizes, the size matches their age e.g. a size 2 for a 2yr old and so on. We bought a toddler one for my son ages ago and he still has to roll up the sleeves on it even though he is a tall 2yr old now.

It seems like the toddler jumper is the best size but I don't want long sleeves!

Also, I have the Russell Athletic L size that I used for football training but it's slightly tight under the arms. XL or XXL Puma jumper?

The Puma styles are fine across the shoulders but slim fitting around the waist. Go the XL unless you're a little tubby.
