did you buy an authentic nike gurnsey or a replica gurnsey?
authentic nike gurnsey is what the players wear on matchday and they are a fitted cut, much tighter and a thicker and smother material- last year about $180
replica tops are a straight cut and baggier, a thiner and rougher material- last year about $100

I wear a long sleeved navy replica (pre 2006 version) when I go cycling in winter. Much better than crap lycra. Also have a navy authentic (2006) - but that one has never been worn and I framed it.
Am keen to get an away jumper too..........but thing is I only buy jumpers AFTER a win. That way I figure they are truly representing CFC. So when we win in the white......I will add to my collection.
Can you actually buy them and if so where???
Is it at the Carlton Shop? Because if so they don't advertise themselves to be selling them and i want to get one.

I just wear a shiny, always new looking thing with long sleeves that I got for my birthday a few years ago. It has Toshiba in red across the front. Should I be embarrassed and am I too old to be wearing it to games? I haven't worn it to matches for a little while now. Please help - Concerned Tragic.
you could last season over the internet, but this year for some reason you can only get them by going instore.
i have yet to see the clash strip online or instore so it could be that they do not have stock as yet- nike have been pretty ordinary in the past with apparel, i wouldn't imagine things have changed.

Well in short. Yes.
No, anyone can still wear it, it actually looks good at a seeing the jumper everywhere. Although I got to a stage at about 14-15 where I stopped wearing my jumper, now I just wear my scarf and my membership thing.
I must admit though I bring it out at finals....so I haven't worn one for a while
Ive got the old school eighties wool sleeveless with collar.
The CFC logo is trashed and it has the old stitch on patches.
Been thru plenty of kick to kick in the backyard on GF day.

I was in Melbourne for the Richmond game and went out to Princes Park/Optus/MC Hammer Park and to the Carlton Store.
They didn't have any authentic (as in raised monogram) guernsey's in either navy or white.
Loads of navy replica ones however- mostly with #5 on the back and mostly short sleeve. It's got the flat CFC logo and rougher material than the authentic one.
I picked up the only XXXL I could find on the racks- fits pretty well. The replica ones are a much bigger fit that the authentic ones. But I'd recommend going up at least a size, if not 2 sizes to what you'd normally wear.
I wanted to pick up a toddler's #5 for my 2-year old but need a long sleeve for those balmy Canberra winters. He got a Juddy poster instead.

About 3 seasons ago i waited all season to get my jumper and then eventually just gave up.
Are they short jumpers or not very wide?
Coz i am very tall, and if you got the last XXXL then i may be in some trouble.
