Obviously getting sacked from Port for some political reasons...

28 year old 3 X B&F winners dont fall off trees.... Our Port connections in Lade and Hardwick would have a fair Idea what the reasons are for the sacking.

No he doesn't fit our age range but if we have 2 PSD picks and he falls to the last one then why not.... would add a bit more grunt in the midfield and most of all if he is cheap.

I jumped on the Port Adelaide game thread during the smashing on the weekend and I have never seen so much frustration directed towards a player before.

Obviously no one watched the game as I didnt (why would you?) but apparently he was handing the ball to the Hawks.

Cornes, like Miller really provides us with little to no real benefit, and absolutely nothing long term!!!!

IMO Cornes is counter productive. Omeara can give us somethin ssooooo muuuuuccchhh more it aint funny!!!!


Omeara is worth 10 while Cornes could be worth -5 for us. He will not leave Port anyway and his best place to max impact and for greater good is Port and good for them!!!

He's considered one of the most hardworking, professional and dedicated players in the League - when it comes to preparation and training, he's meant to be fanatical.

Purely for that, if you could get him very cheap, it'd be worth looking at - would be a great mentor for some of your younger players.
