I can't remember him having a single genuinely effective possession tonight which wasn't a no-brainer handball. The only time he was on his hands and knees in the centre all night was when he got pushed in the back from a spectating position.

I'd rather see Tim Fleming with a strap-on chin lead by example.

Most of you guys are so Kane Johnson biased that even when he has a decent game like tonight you think hes been crap. Other then his last kick, which game from an excellent mark mind you, he was pretty good.

sure they were knackered, and they must have all been knackered by the end of that game.. but can someone explain what made him captain? solely playing premierships for the crows?

i don't care about that turnover at the end of tonights match, plenty of other tigers missed goals and made errors, but can someone explain just what he does that warrants being captain?

That's a great 'pass mark' standard to set for a 'top-class onballer' and leader of the club getting paid $450K+ a year isn't it?

Ask yourself when was the last time Johnson doubled the performance output of the likes of Foley and Tuck - getting paid less than half his salary - then take it from there.

There is no better example of why and how we've ended up in the situation we're currently in.

you might want to ask the "legend", Gerard Healy that one. You see, he has that inate vision that can see why. During his foxtel call, he suggested that "the captain was tearing it up to lift his team", just as Johnson got the ball in the middle, and then when the ball came sailing back over his head, at a million miles an hour, after another turnover, there was no mention of anything. LMAO....what a thumb sucker.
