After the Bartel and Power hopes have been squashed, no one's been talking about Tenace. We really wanted him last year - we were prepared to give up pick 7 - as part of the Ottens deal. Are we going to make a play for him this year? I don't know if he's signed or not, but that would be irrelevant anyway. If he wanted to come over (he's one of those ex-Collingwood supporters) and we could put up a fair trade it would be do-able. What does everyone else think?
Also, I saw Lonie's name in the paper this morning. Personally I would be quite disappointed if we traded him. It's likely that he's best footy's still in front of him, and we could get seriously burned if we traded him for a lesser player simply because we could. I would only consider trading him if it were to get a good midfielder.
One more, Riley Dunn could be coming back to Victoria, even though he's contracted. We haven't seen much of him here in Victoria, but we was taken with pick 10 I think a couple of years ago. I'd be happy to trade Woewodin and the pick we get for Cole for him. If we could get him and Tenace, that would be two top ten pick-ups from two drafts ago.
