The thing about humans is that we have choices, you can choose not to kill for food. There are ways of getting the nutrients you need without resorting to eating meat, it just requires using your brain (something you obviously aren't very adept at).

I don't beleive in trying to convert people and belt them over the head if they have different ideas than mine. Shame these carnivores can't show the same respect.

I'd gladly compare my health status with someone my age who eats meat everyday. In fact I have no doubt I am healthier and fitter than a lot of teenagers.

Americans hunted the eagle to the point of extinction - about 500 left at one stage - they used to shoot them from airplanes for sport. Now they are protected and there numbers are returning. The kangaroo is far from extinct and is a proven survivor of drought conditions. If we farmed roos instead of sheep and beef we may not destroy our pastoral areas as much as we do now.

... because they are frickin' DELICIOUS :D

yum yum, nothing better than a medium-done roo fillet in a plum sauce and washed down with a nice glass of shiraz.

Those three exclamation marks in the thread title made me think that there were some cheap boots on sale or something.

Won't be visiting this waste of space thread again.

There are many more kangaroos now than ever before and the reason for this kangaroos like fairly open pasture grounds, as bush and treed areas are cut down for grazing land there becomes more area for the roos.

You are a idiot....... get your facts before you open your trap.

In good wet seasons roos breed up incredibly fast and in dry years they cut there breeding back.

You're over cooking your roo Uncle Steve. Rare to Medium Rare is the only way to eat Skippy.

yep, I prefer mine rare as well. overcooked roo has the consistency of leather :) roo risotto is good too. I like to eat kangaroo with a nice Pinot Noir, a light red to balance the gaminess of the meat.

aborigines have been eating roo and using their hides for centuries - no sense in changing now.
