Kanye West supporting U2?

Why? It seems quite strange to me. I understand U2 aren't a rock band, but what sort of crowds will this guy be playing to down here? not many who would be into the stuff he does i would presume.

I was very excited to see Kanye on the bill.
Disappointed that when U2 is rescheduled I probly won't be seeing him.
